Dr. Longjie Lu joined Edinburgh Law School in September 2019. Prior to Edinburgh, Longjie taught law at the Dickson Poon School of Law, King’s College London, and completed her Ph.D. in law at the University of Leeds.

Longjie’s main research interests are in the areas of financial regulation, corporate governance, corporate finance and empirical legal studies.

Edinburgh Law School warmly welcomes you to visit our campus in historic Old College.

Come and find out about some of the exciting and influential projects happening at Scotland’s leading legal research institution, enjoy a guided tour of the newly refurbished premises (recently shortlisted for a RICS award), and learn about the fascinating history of one of the University’s oldest faculties and one of Edinburgh’s landmark buildings.

The building will be open on Saturday 28th September from 10:30 to 16:00, with guided tours and talks at the following times throughout the day:

11:00-11:30 Tour 1
12:00-12:30 Tour 2
13:00-13:30 Tour 3
14:00-14:45 Lecture by Professor John Cairns on the history of the Law School and Old College
15:00-15:30 Tour 4

Due to building restrictions, tours and lecture will be ticketed. Book your place on Eventbrite.

Exhibition spaces throughout the school will be open all day, no booking required.
