Free Legal Advice Centre brings Pro Bono Week to Edinburgh Law School

The Free Legal Advice Centre (FLAC) will this year bring Pro Bono Week celebrations to Edinburgh Law School with an afternoon of events.
Pro Bono Week, which this year takes place from 4 to 8 November, is an annual, national week that highlights the important pro bono work across the country. Now in its 18th year, Pro Bono Week is endorsed by the Law Society, the Bar Council, and the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx). The aim of this week is to promote and support those offering pro bono services.
On Wednesday 6 November, the first 'Law in Society' and Pro Bono Fair will be held, organised by FLAC. The event will bring together representatives from a number of charities and organisations from across Scotland, who will showcase their work and give presentations to students and members of the legal profession.
The fair will be free to attend and offer the chance to learn more about pro bono work and find opportunities for volunteering. Find out more about the event here.
