Pro Bono Week – ‘Law in Society’ & Pro Bono Fair

As part of Pro Bono Week, the Free Legal Advice Centre (FLAC) is hosting a ‘Law in Society’ and Pro Bono Fair. Pro Bono week has run for the past 18 years and this year Edinburgh Law School's FLAC will shine a light on the pro bono work occurring throughout Scotland. The ‘Law in Society’ and Pro Bono Fair will highlight and celebrate the excellent pro bono work of charities and other organisations throughout Scotland. Charities and others will be showcasing their work at the Pro Bono Fair as well as making short presentations during the afternoon.

Students and other members of the legal profession will have the opportunity to meet representatives from these charities and organisations to find out how they contribute to our society through their pro bono work. It is the perfect time to enquire about any volunteering opportunities available. In addition, the FLAC office will be open for those who want to find out more about what we do here at the university.
