The Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot is a globally renowned competition that provides law students with practical training in the fields of international commercial law and arbitration. Established in 1993, the Vis Moot has grown to become one of the most prestigious events of its kind, drawing students, academics, and practitioners from across the world. LLM and Honours students are eligible to apply to the call, which will be published in due time. Applicants may also be called for an interview as part of the selection process.
The Vis Moot Competition is held in Vienna, Austria every year, around Easter time. The team may be given the opportunity to attend a Pre-Moot event in London, if possible.
Relevant areas of law: International Trade Law, United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods and other uniform international commercial law and international commercial arbitration.
