Drummond Miller offers Summer Placements, which give the student a chance to experience law in practice, and can often lead to traineeship offers in the future.
Placements are dependent on business needs and are advertised on the company website in February.

Applications for traineeships will be advertised on the Drummond Miller website in December 2025. (No late applications will be considered).

With offices spread across Lothian and Borders and in Glasgow, trainees may have the opportunity to work from more than one location. Specific practice area interests will be accommodated if business demands permit, however, this cannot be guaranteed.
