On the 14th, 15th, and 16th February 2020, students of the University of Edinburgh took part in the British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) Nationals in Sheffield.
Among more than 100 competing students from Edinburgh were Law School students Rae Anderson, Calum Henderson, and Kirsty Marsh, who came away from the event with medals in their respective sports. In Judo, Kirsty Marsh won Silver in her weight category, as well as being part of the Silver medal-winning team along with fellow law student Rae Anderson and a third team member, Maria Sheppard. Calum Henderson won a Bronze medal in the long jump.
The BUCS Nationals is the largest event of its kind in the UK and attracts more than 5,000 competing students from across the UK. In total, 39 medals were won by student athletes from Ediunburgh.
Congratulations to all three of our Law School medal winners!
