Professor Verónica Ruiz Abou-Nigm elected President of the European Law Faculties Association

The 2023 Annual General Meeting and Conference of the European Law Faculties Association took place in Lausanne, Switzerland, from 12 to 14 April 2023. More than one hundred participants attended this fantastic event; a wonderful opportunity to discuss the most recent trends and concerns in the field of legal education.
Representatives from Edinburgh Law School were able to attend the conference, with our very own Professor Verónica Ruiz Abou-Nigm being elected as president of ELFA.

The 2024 Annual General Meeting and Conference of the European Law Faculties Association will take place in Edinburgh from 17-19 April 2024.

Founded in 1995 the European Law Faculties Association organisation has more than 150 Law School members worldwide. Acting as an international forum ELFA allows for the discussion of topics related to legal education, and provides a platform for cooperation and between Law Schools, governmental agencies and educational entities both in Europe and internationally.
