Professor Sharon Cowan speaks at Law Society Annual Conference on work of SFJP

On Friday 25 October, Professor Sharon Cowan, along with Professor Vanessa Munro of the University of Warwick, spoke at the Law Society Annual Conference in Edinburgh. The subject of the talk was their work on the Scottish Feminist Judgments Project (SFJP).
The professors ran a breakout group on 'Women in Law - the next 100 years', presenting on the academic and artistic elements of the project. They also spoke about the recent SFJP bike tour, which took a series of workshops to universities across Scotland. The tour also raised £6,700 for Rape Crisis Scotland, Scottish Women's Aid, and the Scottish Transgender Alliance.
