Edinburgh Law School's Professor of Feminist and Queer Legal Studies discusses rape law with newspaper
A recent article on rape statistics in The Student newspaper featured legal wisdom from Edinburgh Law School's Professor Sharon Cowan.
Professor Cowan was asked to comment on legal aspects of rape. She emphasised the need for the explicit and continued emphasis of consent and that a person "can withdraw consent at any time".
She also spoke about the need to ensure that universities do not foster a culture of harassment.
