Professor Christine Bell named Honorary Professor of the Mitchell Institute, Queen’s University Belfast

Professor Christine Bell, Edinburgh Law School’s Professor of Constitutional Law, has been appointed as Honorary Professor by the Mitchell Institute at Queen’s University Belfast.
Professor Bell is a Fellow of the British Academy and the Royal Society of Edinburgh and her research interests lie in the interface between constitutional and international law, gender and conflict, and peace processes and their agreements.
The Mitchell Institute brings together experts both at QUB and internationally to respond to ‘the unprecedented global challenge of building a peaceful, inclusive and secure world’.
On Professor Bell’s appointment, Richard English, Director of the Mitchell Institute, said: 'We're delighted that Christine Bell will become an Honorary Professor at the Institute. Her pioneering work will complement and enrich areas of great strength here at Queen's, and it will be excellent to collaborate with this distinguished scholar over coming years.'
