Professor Burkhard Schafer contributes to report “On Good AI Governance - a regulatory toolkit"

Professor Burkhard Schafer, who represents the SCRIPT Centre at the AI4People Scientific Committee, is a co-author of the committee's report on AI governance that was presented at the 3rd AI4People Forum Meeting hosted at the at the European Parliament in Brussels on the 6th of November 2019.
The event brought together more than 50 delegates and several global figures in the areas of government, industry, research, and civil society to debate the current challenges of AI as well as the complexity of current moral and legal issues around AI and its governance.
After a brief welcome address from Eva Kaili and Maria da Graça Carvalho, Members of the European Parliament and co-hosts of the meeting, the AI4People’s Scientific Committee presented their report ‘On Good AI Governance: 14 Priority Actions, a S.M.A.R.T.
