Professor Braun begins BritINN Fellowship at the University of Innsbruck
Tue 18 June 2019
Professor Alexandra Braun has been invited to spend two weeks at the University of Innsbruck as a BritINN Fellow. The BritINN network is an interdisciplinary academic network aimed at promoting the academic exchange and research collaboration between the University of Innsbruck and universities and research institutions in Great Britain in all areas of science, art, and humanities.
Her visit will be hosted by the Director of the Institute for Italian Law, Professor Gregor Christandl. During her stay, Prof Braun will work, among other things, on a joint research project on the purposes, policies and justifications underpinning the provisions dealing with the distribution of wealth on intestacy in Austrian, English and Scots law. She will also give a paper at a conference to be held in Innsbruck on 24 July 2019 on ‘The recent reform of Austrian’s succession law: a comparative and practical perspective’.
