LLM student success at Scottish Competition Law Forum Debating Competition

The team of four consisted of Jan Pascal Slotwinski (LLM in Intellectual Property Law), Steffen Lower (LLM in Commercial Law), William Occleston (LLM in European Law) and Martin Radtke (LLM in Innovation, Technology and the Law), who competed in the competition against the University of Glasgow.
Ms Hannah Frodsham, from the Edinburgh office of the OFT/CMA said about the event:
"LLM teams from both Edinburgh and Glasgow Universities [were] judged by Stijn Huijts, a competition lawyer from the CMA.
Both teams did excellent presentations and answered some tricky questions posed by Stijn. As a result Stijn announced that both teams were the winners."
The prize for the winning students will be a day "in-house" in one of the law firms that support the Forum, i.e. Maclay, Murray and Spense, Shepperd & Wedderburn, Brodies and Dundas & Wilson.
Dr Arianna Andreangeli and Dr Bob Lane expressed their delighted at the result and stated that the team was 'truly impressive' and that they 'were very pleased to see them performing to a very high standard'.
