Lindsay Jack delivers talk at Ministerial Roundtable

Tue 10 December 2019

Lindsay Jack roundtable

In late November, Mrs Lindsay Jack spoke at The Scottish Parliament as part of a Ministerial Roundtable, which was one of a series held by Minister for Community Safety Ash Denholm MSP.

The roundtable was the third in a series of three exploring issues of equality and diversity in the legal profession and it focused on widening participation and access. In addition to being invited to attend, Lindsay was identified as an ‘influential individual’ in this area and asked to kick off the discussion by delivering a ten-minute talk on some of the main issues in the current landscape. Attendees included current law students, legal practitioners, The Law Society of Scotland, widening access practitioners and directors of widening participation, and the Commissioner for Fair Access, Professor Peter Scott.
