Judith Rauhofer, Senior Lecturer in IT Law, has been awarded a Staff Mobility Teaching Grant to visit the Institute for Innovation and Digitisation in Law at the University of Vienna.

The visit is part of the SCRIPT Centre’s internationalisation efforts, promoting skills and knowledge exchange and building strategic alliances with other departments in the EU and worldwide that share its teaching and research focus on information technology, IP, media and data protection. During her stay in May 2020, Judith will deliver a series of guest lectures on the “Regulation of IT in Europe” and on the impact of Brexit on EU-UK cross-border data transfers. She will also co-deliver a block seminar on Contemporary issues in IT Law to the department’s graduate students and discuss ongoing research projects with its PhD community.

Staff Mobility Grants are part of the University of Edinburgh’s Go Abroad scheme and are funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union.
