Law School lecturer appointed Deputy Contact Point for ECLAN

Dr Leandro Mancano, Lecturer in European Law at the Edinburgh Law School, has been appointed as the UK’s Deputy Contact point for the European Criminal Law Academic Network (ECLAN).

ECLAN is a network of researchers and academics engaging in EU criminal law across 32 countries. It aims to develop academic research and training in the field of EU criminal law. One Contact Point represents each Member State within the network to act as intermediary between the network and other academics and researchers of the Member State they represent.

Dr Mancano, whose main research interests lie in EU Constitutional Law, EU Fundamental Rights Law, and the law and policy of the EU Area of Freedom Security and Justice, recently spoke to The Times on the subject of Brexit.
