Law School alumnus Robert Currie appointed to K.C.

On 25 May 2023, Professor Rob Currie who graduated from Edinburgh Law School with an LLM in 1999, was appointed His Majesty’s Counsel Learned in the Law (aka ‘King’s Counsel’ or ‘K.C.’) by the Lieutenant-Governor of Nova Scotia, Canada. In Nova Scotia, appointment to K.C. is a non-political honour which is meant to acknowledge exceptional contributions to both the legal profession and the community. 

Rob is currently Distinguished Research Professor at the Schulich School of Law, Dalhousie University. His most recent book, Transnational & Cross-Border Criminal Law: Canadian Perspectives, was published by Irwin Law in September 2023.
