Judith Rauhofer provides input on new Namibian Data Protection Bill

Judith Rauhofer, acting as a consultant for Edinburgh Innovation on behalf of the Commonwealth Secretariat, was part of a joint mission between the Secretariat and the Council of Europe to assist the Namibian government in drafting a new Data Protection Bill.

Judith was one of three experts providing input on international data protection standards during a drafting workshop that took place in Windhoek from 23-26 February 2020. Namibia plans to lay a new Bill before Parliament later this year.
