"The Struggle for Human Rights: Law, Politics, Practice," a two-day international conference on cutting-edge issues in human rights and practice, was held at New York University from 17-18 January 2019. The conference brought together some of the world'sleading scholars and practitioners of human rights, to honour NYU Law School Professor Philip Alston's 40 year contribution to international human rights law.
