ELRN Colloqium 2018

On 7 November 2018, the ELRN held an ‘ELRN Colloquium’. Four speakers (Ms Francesca Soliman, Dr Edward Dove, Dr Andy Aydın-Aitchison, Dr Michelle Burgis-Kasthala) shared their recent experiences conducting empirical legal research. Advice was offered on lessons learned, navigating ethics and other approvals, and the pros and cons of deploying various empirical methods. Following each of their presentations, a roundtable discussion was held on current issues in empirical legal research and speakers offered ‘words of wisdom’ to students.
