Edinburgh Law School's David Johnston QC made Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh

Honorary Professor David Johnston, QC is among 56 new Fellows of the Royal Society of Edinburgh Mr Johnston was admitted to the Faculty of Advocates in 1992, and was regius professor of civil law at the University of Cambridge and Fellow of Christ’s College from 1993 to 1999. He has been Honorary Professor at Edinburgh Law School since 2000. He took silk in 2005 and currently serves as Scottish Law Commissioner.
