Edinburgh Law School in top 25 of QS World University Rankings
Thu 4 March 2021
Edinburgh Law School has been ranked 23rd in the world, in the 2021 QS World University Subject Rankings for Law & Legal Studies.
With an academic reputation score of 83.6 and an overall score of 81, Edinburgh is one of six UK universities, and the only Scottish university, to make it into the top 25 in the area of Law & Legal Studies.
This is the 2nd year running that the Law School has been ranked amongst the world’s top 25 Law Schools.
The QS World University Rankings rank the world’s top universities in individual subject areas. The rankings aim to help prospective students identify the world’s leading schools in their chosen field in response to high demand for subject-level comparisons.
I am delighted that the Edinburgh Law School has continued to rank very highly in the 2021 QS world rankings. Our position as a world top 25 law school reflects the continued commitment of all of the law School’s staff to delivering the best possible education to our students. We shan’t rest on our laurels, however, but will be striving to rise further up the rankings next year.
