Edinburgh Law School students celebrate their graduations
Wed 11 July 2018
The Law School was delighted to celebrate the graduation of its students at the summer graduation ceremonies last week.
Nearly 300 law students from across the LLB, DipPLP, PhD and LLM by Research programmes received their degree awards at the ceremony on 4 July, which was hosted by the Principal, Professor Peter Mathieson at the University’s spectacular McEwan Hall.
Amongst our student graduates, the School was also delighted to award Honorary Doctor of Law degrees to two distinguished members of the legal community: Professor R Antony Duff, who is a leading specialist in the philosophy of criminal law, and Professor Joseph Norton who is a champion of the study of international financial regulation.

The graduation ceremony was followed by a reception hosted by the Head of Law School, Professor Martin Hogg for all graduates and their families.
Edinburgh Law School is immensely proud of all of its students and wishes them all the best for the future.
