Edinburgh Law School academics author paper for IEEE Global Humanitarian Technology Conference

A paper authored by several Edinburgh Law School academics has been published by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) following their 2021 Global Humanitarian Technology Conference (GHTC).
Dr Devanjan Bhattacharya, Dr Sanja Badanjak, Professor Christine Bell, Fiona Knäussel, and Laura Wise, along with University of Edinburgh colleagues John Allison and Benjamin Bach from Information Services, authored the paper titled 'Designing an interactive real-time web-mapped dashboard to visualise conflict ceasefires data over COVID-19 infection rates: facilities and the way ahead'. The paper presents the methodology used in designing a tool to track 'Ceasefires in a time of COVID-19' featuring 'a timeline, an interactive map, and a search tool that displays qualitative data about the ceasefires and related events'.
The paper has been published following its presentation at the 2021 IEEE GHTC which took place from 19-23 October 2021. Read it on the IEEE Xplore website.
