Dr Filippo Fontanelli speaks at United Nations International Law Week side event

Dr Filippo Fontanelli, Senior Lecturer in International Economic Law at the Law School, spoke on 26 October 2021 at a side event to the 76th session of the United Nations 6th Committee (Legal). The virtual event, hosted as part of the International Law Week by the Japanese mission to the UN, focussed on reforms to procedural rules and working practices of interstate courts and tribunals. The other panellists were Professor Hélène Ruiz Fabri (Max Planck Institute, Luxembourg), Professor Shotaro Hamamoto (Kyoto University), and Dr Arman Sarvarian (University of Surrey)
The speakers are former officers of the International Law Association Committee on the Procedure of International Courts and Tribunals whose final report and resolution were adopted by the 79th Biennial ILA Conference (Kyoto) in December 2020.
