Dr Souhami spoke to the Policing and Society conference at the University of Akureyri in Iceland
Dr Anna Souhami delivered a keynote address at the Policing and Society conference on Wednesday, 21 February at the University of Akureyri in the north of Iceland. The conference was located just 40km south of the Arctic circle.
Delegates gathered to discuss the conference's theme: rural policing. Dr Souhami's paper was entitled "What does rural police work teach us about policing? Lessons for theory, practice and research from the remote Northern Islands of Scotland".
