The University of Edinburgh team delivered an outstanding performance at the UK Student Mediation Competition, held in Belfast this past weekend.
Edinburgh Law School was represented by Diploma in Professional Legal Practice students Claudia Preiss, Aneesa Ali and Lewis Robinson, with Alison Smith coaching the team. They represented the University with professionalism, integrity and distinction, exemplifying its values throughout the competition.
In a highly competitive environment, the team’s maturity and respectful approach stood out. Their collaborative and ethical conduct set a strong example for others and was a credit to the University.
The team achieved an impressive fourth-place finish overall and, individually, they also delivered outstanding performances.
Looking ahead, the competition will be hosted in Glasgow next year. This year’s winners, the University of Glasgow, were a deserving and impressive group, and the event once again highlighted the strength, talent and professionalism of students across the sector.
