Death of Niall McCluskey

Edinburgh Law School is saddened to hear about the death of respected advocate and long-time friend to the School Niall McCluskey.
Mr McCluskey served on Edinburgh Law School's Diploma in Professional Practice as a Criminal Court Practice tutor for many years and was passionate about teaching, access to justice and the rule of law.
Called to the bar in 1995, having practiced as a solicitor and procurator fiscal depute, he was involved in many cases, prosecuting and defending at all levels.
The Law School's deepest condolences are with his family and friends at this time.
