Applications are now open to PeaceRep’s short courses

PeaceRep have opened applications for two of its short courses, Gender and Peace Processes in a Changing World and Conflict Transitions in the Eastern Mediterranean Region.
The courses help support the development of peacebuilding professional, conflict advisers, and students. PeaceRep's teaching programme draws on their data-driven, comparative research into the design and management of peace and transition processes.
All of PeaceRep's courses are run entirely online and last between five and six weeks.
Gender and the Peace Process
This five-week online course explores the latest developments in the field of gender, peace and security, with a focus on gender inclusive peace processes in a rapidly changing world.
Each week will cover a different topic related to gender inclusion and peace processes, including the Women, Peace and Security agenda, gender perspectives in peace agreements, and the challenges of advocating for gender inclusive peace processes in fragmented contemporary conflicts.
The course takes place from 18 August to 26 September 2025.
The deadline for applications is 4 July 2025.
Conflict Transitions in the Eastern Mediterranean Region
This six-week course provides participants with theoretical and practical skills, and contextualised knowledge of the Eastern Mediterranean Region relating to transversal issues that interact with conflict and peaceful transition.
Participants will benefit from a deep and comprehensive vision of the region which will enhance their capacity to offer contextualised and integrative solutions to problematic situations they encounter in their professional activities.
The course takes place from 20 October to 5 December 2025.
The deadline for applications is 25 August 2025.

PeaceRep will soon be opening applications to its PeaceTech course, a short online course introducing the cutting-edge field of PeaceTech, the use of data and technology to support peacebuilding initiatives. The course will introduce participants to social science approaches to data on peace and conflict, data analysis, and visualisations. The course is scheduled to run from January - February 2026, with applications opening in autumn 2025.
