Annie Sorbie appointed to Independent Expert Group

Edinburgh Law School's Annie Sorbie, Lecturer in Medical Law and Ethics, has been appointed to an Independent Expert Group (IEG) that is overseeing the Scottish Government’s programme on Unlocking the Value of Public Sector Data for Public Benefit.
Bringing her extensive experience of providing strategic advice on matters of health regulatory practice and policy to the IEG, Annie will help to shape the development of high-level principles and a framework of guidance to aid ethical decision-making by data controllers.
