Alumnus and former Law School Lecturer receives Honorary degree

Doctor of Laws conferred upon W. David H. Sellar M.V.O.
On Wednesday 23 June, the University of Glasgow conferred the honorary degree of Doctor of Laws on William David Hamilton Sellar M.V.O., former Lord Lyon King of Arms and Senior Lecturer at the University of Edinburgh.
David Sellar is a prominent legal historian and has exerted a great influence upon the development of Scottish legal history. He has supported interdisciplinary work and brought a modern spirit to the study of Scots law.
