Join postgraduate students, researchers and academics from the University of Bristol’s Centre for Health, Law and Society, the University of Manchester’s Centre for Social Ethics & Policy, and the University of Edinburgh’s Mason Institute for the first of a FREE three-part seminar series examining contemporary issues in medical law and ethics.
This first seminar will be led by Dr Alexandra Mullock from the University of Manchester, who will be presenting on ‘Surgical harm, consent and English criminal law: When should ‘Bad-apple’ Surgeons be prosecuted?’
This presentation will be followed by a short response each from Edinburgh and Bristol, and then a discussion in which everyone is encouraged to participate.

3.00 – 3.30: Further discussion, for those who wish to/are able to stay for longer.
A link to the zoom meeting will be send out to those who register with a valid email address (from the University of Manchester, University of Bristol or University of Edinburgh) closer to the date. Those who are in Manchester are welcome to join in person, in Room 4.08 (Williamson Building).
