The first seminar of the 'Law, Wealth and Inequality' project will focus on the role law, and in particular property, trusts and succession law, have played in creating and maintaining dynastic wealth.
Speakers at the seminar will be
- Professional Arbitrage in Imperial Pathways: The Rise of Offshore Finance - Professor Brooke Harrington, Professor of Sociology at Dartmouth College
- Securities lending, insolvency maldistributions, and corrupted trusts - Professor Joshua Getzler, Professor of Law and Legal History at the University of Oxford.
