The ECCL invites you to a showcase of PhD research covering challenges and issues that are at the forefront of current constitutional thinking. Topics will range from questions about the legal identity of political parties, to constitutional innovations in the Global South, and from the role of “the people” in the UK’s constitution, to the need for specialism in the judicial protection of rights in the UK. Each project embraces both constitutional theory as well as practical application. The presenters, who have all recently completed their theses, will share their findings and experience, as well as their thoughts as to the future direction of their highly topical and thought provoking research.
