Some issues raised by quantum technologies and theory for international law and governance
About the speaker:

Dr Geoff Gordon is a senior researcher at the Asser Institute, part of the University of Amsterdam, but in The Hague. His work ranges from theory to practice, with a focus at points of interface between security, economy, technology and law. When not addressing emergent questions prompted in this space by quantum technologies, his work lately also concerns information theory and flow in international institutions, especially in ecologies featuring AI components. He has a long running interest in questions of law and time, as well as law and value production, but the longer his interest, the fewer the answers he has to those questions.
