'Intellectual Property Rights for Fringe Performers' at Edinburgh Fringe 2019
Edinburgh Fringe Central
Venue - 2
Thu 15 August 2019
Edinburgh Law School will be contributing again to Edinburgh Fringe Central's programme of professional development events for Fringe participants.
This session will help you understand the rules and tools you can use to identify what intellectual property rights you might own, what you can do with them, how you can protect them in the digital environment and which legally permitted uses you can rely upon when using intellectual property created by others. It will cover fundamental aspects of copyright and performers’ rights and a brief introduction to designs and trademarks, along with questions and discussion.
Free to attend but booking is advised.
