Henry Goudy Seminar

The Henry Goudy Seminar resumes this February.  

Our next meeting will take place on 2 February at 6 pm in the Neil MacCormick Room, Old College. In this meeting, we will discuss ownership in Roman law. The participants are expected to read the following piece:  

‘Ownership and Power in Roman Law’ by Luigi Capogrossi-Colognesi*

The Oxford Handbook of Roman Law and Society, Paul J. du Plessis, Clifford Ando, Kaius Tuori (eds.)

The seminar is intended as a friendly and welcoming way to meet others with an interest in legal history, so absolutely no prior knowledge of the topic is necessary.
