About this event
This exploratory workshop will look at the extent to which Scots law does, or has ever, recognised provision of labour in proprietary terms as a background (or brainstorming) session for a proposed co-authored article by Alice Krzanich and Susanna Macdonald-Mulvihill. Some of the areas that will be discussed are: voluntary provision of services and its interaction with donation; unjustified enrichment; employment of law; and succession. All are welcome to attend and all input is greatly appreciated.
A second workshop will be held at the University of Aberdeen during academic session 2025/26.
Lead discussants
Dr Alice Krzanich (Lecturer, University of Aberdeen)
Dr Susanna Macdonald-Mulvihill (Early Career Fellow in Private Law, University of Edinburgh)
