Fiona Chute and Wendy Murphy of Brodies LLP will speak on the evolving role of AI and legal technology in legal practice today.
As well as being a senior associate in Brodies’ commercial litigation team, Fiona is accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as an Accredited Legal Technologist, one of a handful of such specialists in Scotland who are also practising lawyers. In addition to her client-facing role, she works with the Brodies innovation and technology team on evaluating, testing and implementing legal technology within the firm.
Wendy Murphy, Graduate Engagement Manager, leads graduate recruitment at Brodies, and has responsibility for the firm’s summer placement programmes, traineeship recruitment and early careers.
Fiona will speak about the ways in which AI and legal technology tools are changing the way law firms work internally, as well as how work is delivered for clients. They will share their tips on how those at the start of their careers can best prepare themselves for a changing workspace in which such tools are becoming more established every day.
