The SCGA is delighted to be welcoming HE Toomas Ilves, former President of Estonia, to speak in Scotland on 1 April.
At a pivotal moment in international relations, he will address European security today, in light of the Russo-Ukraine War and the Presidency of Donald Trump.
Ilves was the leader of the Social Democratic Party in the 1990s, served as Minister of Foreign Affairs, as an MEP, and was twice elected President of Estonia.
The event will be moderated by Phillips O’Brien, Professor of Strategic Studies and Head of the School of International Relations at the University of St Andrews.
The event will be hosted by the University of Edinburgh Law School, Old College, South Bridge at 16:00 on 1 April.
