About the event
This is an in-person PhD work-in-progress presentation by Eric (Zekun) Chang, who is a PhD candidate at Edinburgh Law School. He will be sharing part of his PhD thesis: 'Clarifying ‘Long-Term Shareholder Value’ in the Context of Hedge Fund Activism'. Eric has recently submitted his thesis, which examines the regulation of hedge fund activism in US corporate governance.
This is part of a series of presentations, hosted by Edinburgh Commercial PGR Reading Group, which are designed to allow PGRs (members of the group) to share their research experiences, learn from one another, and receive feedback and questions from their peers and researchers. These sessions will allow members of the reading group and participants to learn about each other's work while also providing a comfortable and relaxing setting to strengthen their communication skills in research.
