Tamar Menteshashvili, Promitheas Peridis and Dr Ross Spence are all graduates of the LLM International Banking Law and Finance programme. Find out about their career paths since graduating, hear where their degree has taken them, and listen to their top tips for current students.

About the speakers

Tamar Menteshashvili has been deeply immersed in the Web3 space since 2014. She is currently an integral part of the Solana Foundation's Global Expansions team, where she leverages her expertise to drive international growth efforts. Her journey includes impactful roles at Binance, where she spearheaded the Business Development for the Launchpad team, and at Coinmarketcap, serving as the Global Expansions Lead. She is currently a PhD candidate at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, focusing on stablecoin regulations.

Promitheas Peridis is a Senior-Associate Compliance Officer at JP Morgan Asset Management (Europe) S.à r.l. specialising in Investment Funds. Previously, Promitheas worked as a Compliance Officer at Nomura Bank (Luxembourg) S.A.. He is holding a PhD in Laws with specialisation in Alternative Investment Funds from the European University Institute (EUI).

Dr Ross Spence is a University of Edinburgh, School of Law, graduate; he holds an LLB (Hons) and an LLM (with distinction) in International Banking Law and Finance. Between 2017-2021, Ross commenced and concluded his EURO-CEFG PhD fellowship on Collateral Transactions and Shadow Banking at Leiden University. Ross now works as a Compliance Expert at Van Lanschot Kempen in Amsterdam. He is also an External Advisory Council Member at the FinWork Futures Research Centre at King’s College Business School in London.
