Sir Charles Fraser KCVO WS DL FRSE graduated from Edinburgh Law School's LLB Law programme in 1954, following his MA degree at the University of Edinburgh.
Sir Charles has had a long and distinguished career which has included law, finance, advisory roles to government and a wide list of public service appointments. In 2016, he was invited to be an honorary member of The Merchant Company, Scotland’s pre-eminent livery company.
He holds an Honorary Degree from Edinburgh University and another from Edinburgh Napier University, and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh.
Sir Charles is an active member of the Edinburgh Law School alumni community and its current students, such as the Sir Charles Fraser Essay Competition.
This event will take a Q&A format, and in conversation with Edinburgh Law School's Dr Hardman, Sir Charles will discuss life after graduating from Edinburgh Law School, his career path, and give advice to current students and young professionals.
