In 2007 the School of Law at Edinburgh University celebrates a very special
anniversary year - the 300th year of the first chair in Law, the Regius Chair of
Public Law and the Law of Nature and Nations. We do hope you can join us at one or more of the planned
celebratory events in 2007 including our Tercentenary lecture series, Honorary
Graduation ceremony, Alumni Reunion Weekend, Tercentenary Golf Day, receptions
in London and Europe and our closing event - a concert of legal themed music.
To coincide with the anniversary celebrations we have launched a Law
Tercentenary fundraising campaign, to enhance investment in teaching and
research facilities for future generations of staff and students. We
welcome the opportunity to update our alumni, former staff, supporters and
friends on our campaign plans and progress.
We would like to reach out to many of our alumni and friends both during and
beyond the Tercentenary year. We know many of our law graduates like to keep in
touch after they leave Edinburgh for lots of reasons, whether for career,
social, or professional purposes. We are very happy to help you to do this, and
provide a range of services aimed at making it easier for you to keep in touch.
We would be delighted if you wished to add your details to the 'Alumni in Touch'
section using the 'Register' page. Additionally, please do contact Karen Boyle if you
would like more information on how to join the alumni network, how to join an
alumni group in your area and how to hold a class reunion.
We look forward to speaking and meeting with you in the lead up to the
tercentenary celebrations. |
