Research ethics and research resources
Edinburgh Law School is committed to an open research environment as a means of challenging social inequalities caused by restricting access to academic research.

We promote the values underpinning the open research agenda, progressing rigour and transparency as well as the availability and re-usability of our methods, data, findings and outputs; while also alert to ethical implications given that significant amounts of research involve sensitive or personal information and create concerns about data sharing. Edinburgh Law School provides a range of open access resources, comparative materials and datasets to enable high quality research.
