Sruthi Herbert is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the project ‘Reversing the Gaze’. Her PhD in Development Studies focused on people’s interface with India's developmental and administrative state and their differential experience of citizenship based on their social identities. Before joining the Edinburgh Law School, she worked as a Teaching Fellow at SOAS University of London, teaching postgraduate and undergraduate Development Studies students.
