Open call for papers for special issue on Virtue Argumentation and the Law

Professors Amalia Amaya and Claudio Michelon intend to submit a proposal for a special issue to the journal Topoi in December 2023 on topics located at the intersection of virtue argumentation and legal argumentation. Although most papers in the special issue will come from a workshop held at Edinburgh Law School last summer, we are seeking between two and four papers, no longer than 10,000 words in length, to be included in the submission to the journal. The editors would like to invite all those who would like to be a part of the volume to send full drafts by December 15th, 2023 to the emails below. The editors will then make a judgement on whether the papers are a right fit for the volume, inform the prospective authors, and submit the proposal to Topoi. As per current practice, each paper put forward by the editors of the special issue will be double-blind peer reviewed by Topoi.
