| Visiting Academics Programme |
Edinburgh Law School is delighted to welcome academic scholars to participate in its Visiting Academics Programme.
The aim of the Visiting Academics Programme is to offer a stimulating research environment to leading legal, socio-legal and criminological scholars, in which they can conduct research of the highest quality, and through which they can contribute to the research activities of Edinburgh Law School.
Academics, scholars and researchers may apply to visit Edinburgh Law School for any time period, whether for a short research visit or for an extended stay during sabbatical leave from their own university or employer.
Applications are welcome from scholars in any field of Legal Studies broadly conceived, although preference may be given to applicants whose research is related to the School's research areas or research centres. The School welcomes applications from academic visitors at all stages of their academic career, including early career researchers and more senior staff. Students wishing to visit Edinburgh, however, should apply through the Visiting Research Students Programme.
The Director of the Visiting Academics Programme is Professor Gerry Maher.
Applications should be made via the form which is available for download below, or in printed form from the Research Administrator, and submitted back to the Research Administrator at least two months before the proposed visit.
