Undergraduate Exams    

Introduction

Undergraduate courses in the School of Law are usually assessed, either partly or in whole, by means of examination. Information on the specific type of examination can be found in the relevant course guide which is issued at the start of the course and can be found on the course website.


Exam diets

There are three diets during the year.

The first is in December in weeks 13 and 14 of the first semester, when the following Ordinary courses are examined:

Contract and Unjustified Enrichment (first year)
Family Law (first year)
International Law (first year)
Criminal Law (second year)
European Union Law (second year)
Jurisprudence (second year)
Public Law and Individual Rights (second year).
International Private Law (second year).

The second and main diet is from the end of April to late May when the other Ordinary courses and all Honours courses are examined.

The third diet is the resit diet in the second half of August. Resits are for Ordinary courses only. There are no Honours resits.
