LLB Accreditation in the USA and Canada

Accreditation refers to the transferability of your LLB degree from Edinburgh into the jurisdiction in which you intend to practice.  Each state/province in the USA and Canada has its own rules and regulations governing which subjects and qualifications a student will need in order to qualify for entrance into the legal profession.

Use the interactive map below to find the contact details of the regulatory body in each state or province.  Students should contact these organisations directly for further information about accreditation requirements.
